Episode 24 : Avalanche

An important message from Half the Battle, new episode is below., the website that hosts the videos for Half the Battle, as well as many, many other fine shows is in the process of streamlining their content. What that means is that a lot of shows are going to be cut. Is Half the Battle going to make the cut? I have no idea. The criteria are vague at best. Blip is a business though, so I'm fairly certain revenue will help. As such, to make my show more attractive to Blip, I'm afraid I'm going to have to start enabling "prerolls" on my videos. This means there's a chance you'll see a commercial before my videos start playing. I'm not overly fond of it, but I feel this is the direction I have to go in. I apologize for any annoyance this causes.

A bigger audience is always a plus. Right now, my audience is quite small, but loyal. Something I am grateful for. I try to promote my show, but I can't be everywhere. Especially since there are without a doubt lots of places I don't even know exist. Here's where you can help. There are a lot of places where people talk about GIJoe, or toys or comics or cartoons in general. If you are a member of a message board, or a facebook group, or a google group, or post on a blog, or have a blog or are part of any of the other hundreds of ways communities exist now, and they deal with the stuff I just mentioned, why not mention this show? I've noticed some of you have done this already, as I've gotten traffic from places I've never been. You have my sincere gratitude for that.

Don't be a spammer though, mention the show once and see where it goes from there. And please, don't feel obligated to do this, only do it if you genuinly want to. If worst comes to worst, I can always go on Youtube, though I'd rather avoid that for various reasons I won't get into now.
Oh, and check to see if I haven't posted myself where-ever you post.

Anyway, I've rambled long enough. As you'll see in this week's episode, we've got things to celebrate !
